Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy

Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy is the specific, gentle manipulation of the spine, pelvis, and all extremities. There are many ways that this can be performed and the doctor will determine which technique is most beneficial for each patient’s unique situation. As an example, it may be determined that a patient should receive instrument adjusting in some areas of the body, while other areas should be manipulated by hand. Manipulation has many applications and can be applied to various parts of the body with the goal of restoring nerve function, proper biomechanics, reduce pain, improve circulation as well as reduce or limit scar tissue, to name a few.
